Google Earth is a powerful satellite image viewing system that can be obtained
free of charge from http://earth.google.com/
. With this software users can view satellite images covering
most of the world, including a spectacular 3D viewing system.
Most of the areas are covered by
medium resolution LandSat images, but high resolution QuickBird images are
increasingly available including many rare mountainous and forest areas
of Peru. This section will be expanded continually as we extract
the best views of various zones from the inexhaustible Google
Earth database.
